Push notifications are sent in real-time, meaning messages are delivered to the recipient when the PushPanda user sends them.
If you send web push notifications while the subscriber's browser is closed, the messages will be displayed when the subscriber opens the browser. You can find a current list here.
Browser | Opened | Closed |
Google Chrome | YES | YES |
Microsoft Edge (1) | YES | YES |
Firefox | YES | NO |
OPERA (1) | YES | NO |
Samsung Internet Browser | YES | NO |
Yandex (1) | YES | YES |

NOTE (1) - Microsoft Edge, Opera, Samsung Browser, Yandex, and UC Browser are Chromium-based browsers.
Web push notifications are only available for a limited time. Messages that are no longer valid (= expiration date) will not be delivered.
Suppose a subscriber has not opened his browser for several weeks, e.g. during vacation. In that case, the subscriber will receive only the latest push message thanks to our "Message expires in x days" feature - starting with Plan Premium & Business.
